Anything related to an InstallFest
During today's installfest we had a system with keyboard issues. The specific details were this: An ASUS laptop E200H, ubuntu 17.04 with gnome, and an encrypted hard drive. The system booted up to the screen where it requests the disk encryption password. At this point in time, the system did not allow the use of the laptop's keyboard. It did however recognize an external USB keyboard.

Back when I was distro hopping after I became dissatisfied with the operating system that I was using, it was not uncommon for me to have two, three, or even four operating systems on the same hard drive. An incident occurred at the recent Installfest on the 3rd of December that brought to mind a a small application that I had used to change the default operating system, Grub Customizer.
The location for the 1 October 2016 and the 5 November 2016 Installation Festival/Linux Workshop has changed. There is free public parking just across the street next to Circle K. The time will remain the same 10-4. The Install-fest for 15 October 2016 will remain unchanged and will meet at UAT.
