Quick Tip

12.10 orginally shipped with Nautilus 3.2 however I have found this somewhat buggy. I used this article to update Nautilus to 3.6. A small note, the odd number realeases like 3.5 are considered unstable so my advice would be to keep a even number release for the most compatability. Since the upgrade. Nautilus hasn't crashed. I have a 12.10 64 bit. I will leave the link for those who wish to look into it

Tucson Installfest arranged for April 2, 2011

We are glad to announce the UofA / AZ LoCo / PLUG Installfest at the U of A Computer Science Dept.
in the atrium of a building and floor to be announced shortly. We will be doing full installs and answering Open Source software questions from 10 am to 4 pm. Please RSVP if you are able to attend or need help with anything. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with us and to have fun meeting other open sourcer's.

Ubuntu was ABLE

ABLEconf (Arizona Business and Liberty Experience conference) was held on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Once again at the University of Advancing Technology in Phoenix, the conference held more presentations than in its inaugural. Among those displaying their services was the Ubuntu-Arizona LoCo team.
